Featherpine
nature play & homeschool collective
In a world where children and families are busier than ever, we give you the opportunity to stop and breathe.
We promote children’s wellbeing by allowing time to slow down and connect with nature, with themselves and with others. We believe in the power of play and the importance of community.
We are a soul-filling group, offering beautiful play experiences that encourage connection, emotional regulation and sustainability.
2025
Homeschool Collective
Featherpine Nature Play will be opening play sessions in Nanango for homeschoolers with a focus on connection, creativity and wellbeing.
Our day will include, but not be limited to, nature and sensory play experiences, art and craft, painting, clay, STEM (science) challenges, games, puzzles, loose parts play, woodworking and gardening. It will be completely led by the children's interests, open-ended and play based. I aim to create a soul-filling group, offering beautiful play experiences that encourage connection, emotional regulation and sustainability.
These sessions will be a 2.5 or 5 hour drop off between 9:30 and 2:30, however parents would be welcome to stay for as long as their children need them to. The collective will cater for primary school aged children (children who turn 5 before July 1st, 2025 up to and including 12 years old).
The collective will be run through Enhance Family Day Care scheme, meaning CCS will be able to be claimed if eligible. It also means that it will be a small group setting and that the service will be fully insured.
